Who is EMPOWERment Inc.?
About Us
EMPOWERment Inc. is a Community Development Corporation with the mission of empowering individuals and communities to achieve their destiny through community organizing, affordable housing, and grassroots economic development.
What We Do
EMPOWERment Inc. manages 73 affordable rental properties and 5 privately-owned homes in Orange County. All tenants earn 30-80% of the Area Median Income, and EMPOWERment provides housing counseling, financial literacy training, and utility fund assistance.
EMPOWERment also owns and operates the Midway Business Center, Orange County’s first small business incubator. The Midway Business Center develops small businesses by providing them with a professional space, resources, and networking opportunities for their businesses.

BrightPath Solutions is a program created after the COVID-19 pandemic with the mission to provide minority small businesses with the necessary tools and classes for success.
How To Get Involved
Help Us EMPOWER lives:
Attend a Community Outreach Meeting, which are held two to four times a year. For more information, call our office (919-967-8779).
Donate to our annual fundraiser or tenant meetings.
